Hi All,
As I am sure many of you are aware, Dovetail Games' Portsmouth Direct line route features many unfinished sections away from the PDL itself. For me, personally, I am possibly more interested in these routes than the main line itself! There's more interest and variety in traffic for a start...
So, my question today is:
Has anyone completed or has been/is working on an extension to the scenery for the Portsmouth Direct Line? If so, what requirements does the extension have, and does it (annoyingly in my case! I don't have/intend to have London - Faversham.) require the DPS Upgrade? I can't find a definitive answer to this question, so I thought I'd ask it here!
All the best,

Here's what you're looking for and it requires South London Network and the PDL (Make sure to install the extra file mentioned in the description).

I've done the Alton Line, Aldershot to Guildford along with resignalling and rescenerying the entire original route.

I'll have to try and get SLN in the next sale then...
Thanks! It's nice to know that somebody is doing it, and it looks good too!

Does this modify the base route so current scenarios can be still used or does it make a new version of the route?secludedsfx wrote:Here's what you're looking for and it requires South London Network and the PDL (Make sure to install the extra file mentioned in the description).

As it's a Steam Workshop route it will be a new route in your routes-list. I don't know if scenarios can be copied over or not but at least the scenarios for the original route should still work in the original route!

Nothing to gain installing this add-on if the scenarios don't worktnleeuw01 wrote:As it's a Steam Workshop route it will be a new route in your routes-list. I don't know if scenarios can be copied over or not but at least the scenarios for the original route should still work in the original route!

Re: DTG/RSC Portsmouth Direct Line Scenery
When it was released I got all the scenarios I had work using RW Tools. I ported them over to the scenario folder in the modified route and then opened each one and then saved it again in RW Tools and they all work (well all the ones I have tried). Its a great update and well worth installing. There was a thread on the update when it was released on here and how to get them to work was explained on there749006 wrote:Nothing to gain installing this add-on if the scenarios don't worktnleeuw01 wrote:As it's a Steam Workshop route it will be a new route in your routes-list. Peter
I don't mind messing around a bit to get them to work - I will get this route and look for the info on UKTS
Cheers
