I like the way a train gets posed in a position it would never be - aka the 158

But you're fine with a 221 heading to Liverpool Lime Street??

The 221 to Liverpool could happen because of Engineering work - I have seen them there in the past.
Or a relief for Football or racing - hence an EMT 222 working in to Liverpool

But the ATW would not use Platform 1 at Crewe as you can not get towards Shrewsbury or Chester.

Not impossible re the 158 in P1 if they were shunting to Crewe LNWR sheds.

But from where to the LNWR Sheds?
If you have arrived on a thru line you keep going and if you arrived in 9 or 10 you would reverse on the Chester line and thru 6, 11, thru or 12
To reverse on the Down Slow you have to go most of the way to Coal Yard .

I find one of the most enjoyable things in TS is being able to drive just what I like, where the hell I like.....
maybe the 158 failed in service, and has just been dumped there out of the way?

Has any one made a Northern Rail 323 yet?if not then you haven't got any reason to worry about where to put it.

At present there is no Class 323 available. It would be nice if one was available as it would mean I have something to use for Redditch - New Street and the new Bromsgrove services.

Or . . . pretend that is also broken down, and in a fit of nostalgia and misplaced time-travel, replace it with a J15 hauling some LNER suburban stock?
(I think Gary will get my drift . . )

I was being ironic in my post about the 323. If the winky emoji wasn't enough to stop you from taking the bait, I give up.

Didn't 158s run from Manchester up to Glasgow on Cross Country services back when they were new? Of course this likely ended before the Voyages came along, but still...
