For those of you who might be interested, the latest programme on Eisenbahn Romantik (available on YouTube) covers a brief history of the Wildenrath test track and former RAF airbase.
I'll forgive them for incorrectly identifying the Vulcan as a Canberra.
However, enjoy spotting trains from UK to Turkey, it is a fascinating show.
Knowing German is a help, but not essential.

Thanks for that, will take a look. I spent 3 years in that area [Wassenberg] 1975 - 1978 and flew RC craft there, great memories stored up have been reaccessed. Regards.
