5029 Nunney Castle Marketplace Pack

Post by bigben5051 »

Hello all,

The 5029 Nunney Castle Marketplace Pack is coming soon to TS2017 and will be available on Steam.

This pack depicts Castle Class No. 5029 Nunney Castle in three guises from 2000 to 2015. The loco features dual brakes (vacuum and air), which can be switched over when the player wishes, AWS which can be isolated - this includes an AWS self test.

Headboards: Torbay Express, The Mayflower, Cornish Riviera Express, The Inter-City, Cathedrals Express, The Bristolian, Capitals United Express, Z48, The Cornishman, The Royal Duchy, The Merchant Venturer, The Red Dragon, Cambrian Coast Express, Pembroke Coast Express.

Also included is 5029's Support Coach, which carries both a flashing tail lamp and a high intensity headlamp for propelling moves around stations and yards.

The manual is available to view here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxjnW4 ... dYUjg/view

Kind regards,

Ben

Is this a Standalone pack or do you need another Castle to make it work?

Thanks

This pack will require the "Riviera in the Fifties" add on to work.

Any chance of doing a Western Region version pre 1962,for us .members who are interested in steam era GWR/Western region locomotives and routes
Thanks for making another Castle class locomotives, any chance of doing Windsor Castle and Bristol Castle, there is history with those two locomotives,Windsor Castle was supposed to haul King George the V@ funereal train, but it was under repair at Swindon,so the swapped the number and name with Bristol Castle ,they then kept those numbers and names until they were scrapped.

Nice one Ben, another great addition from yourselves.

Michael I though there were already some versions of the castle before 1962, one subvariant including those rebuilt from stars.

This pack is now going out as a full release, stand alone DLC. You will not require any other DLC for this pack to work.

Yeah, but with a wee condition...
the GWR era Castles are available now to registered members of TS Rewards!
As the TS Rewards promotion has run it's course, I doubt they're available on Steam as such.

I think you may be able to get the TS Rewards Castles if you purchase Riviera in the 50's as DLC (if you don't have it) although don't quote me on that. I didn't sign up to the rewards scheme but when I purchased TS2016 Steam Edition I got them with the Riviera line.

Are you sure they were the Rewards Castles?...
Riviera 50's includes BR liveried Castles, which are contained in the ..\Assets\DTG\ExeterKingswear directory structure (well, in the .ap that contains that structure) and I think the Rewards ones are in
..\Assets\DTG\CastlePack02 or ..\Assets\DTG\CastlePack02 or maybe even both.

Those aren't no...guess you can't get them that way anymore then? Its funny as on the Steam trailer for the DLC they do appear, well at GWR liveried one does...

According to Ben's post on Facebook, the pack will now be a normal DLC pack instead of a Marketplace pack.

Presumably this will also mean a different price but nothing was said about that.

***UPDATE***
The 5029 Nunney Castle Pack will now be released as a normal DLC Pack. We have not made any changes to the pack, so you'll still be getting everything you've already seen!

A normal pack usually comes with whatever dependencies that it has from the store, so yes the price may be different/more (pure speculation) but standard DLC doesn't have other requirements for it to work, whereas some marketplace content does.

Oops - sorry - I saw his other posts on this thread regarding the impending release of the Castle pack but somehow overlooked that post! Twice! Thrice!
