I still prefer to use the in cab buttons when changing from a standing position just for the 'realism' I suppose but pressing the 'Y' keyboard key is a must when having to do the change over on the move.

I spoke too soon !
Tried the scenario yesterday and after following the posted Youtube clip, it worked fine. But tried again last night and back to square one..it wouldn't work (at least when trying to use the "Y" command ).
Can anyone explain if there is a critical point at which you must press the Y keyboard button ? I know there has been mention of the trackside signs etc, but do you have to wait until you have ran off the third rail ? And also if changing power that way, does it only work if you are stationary ?
