Granted, gptech, but if assets aren't showing it either means that they're set up in a different folder tree in the Steam version or that there are assets in the Steam version that do not appear in the CR version.

I'm not sure. I have Mully's milk-bottle replacement installed so I get bright orange cooling towers instead and if they bridge the tracks I usually delete them. I think one was something like goonhilly something or other and another had a weird name like station wooden walkways. Others I checked were minor things like brambles.

Whatever they are, getting rid of the cooling towers hasn't affected my enjoyment of the route.

So you haven't been working on an RW Tools report of *missing* items?

The problem with the 'cooling towers' to show a missing asset is that even a clump of grass gets displayed as something enormous, possibly so small that you wouldn't notice a milk bottle marker, and gives a somewhat false impression of the impact of any missing items---though admittedly it's much easier to see where missing items are when in the game!

As you've found, missing items often don't detract from enjoying a route--the only real *essentials* are the track and track linked/related objects such as signals, most scenery items are duplicated numerous times on all of our machines, or if not exact duplicates we all have suitable replacements.

I have completed a drive along the whole route, without having the China Clay route the only noticeable items that seem to be missing are station canopies at Galphay, the routes looks great.

Interesting I may be interested in doing some scenario's, route looks good from pictures but I'd like to see a map. Could someone post a 2D map screenshot please?

A couple of questions is the route QD enabled as it not showing up in the QD section of TS1017 also can't find any standard scenarios for the route either were there any included?

There are none with the route download but there are two on Steam for it.

Could the route author suggest any ideas to stop my PC crashing to desktop when loading the new scenario called "Trouble on the Line" please ? It appears that there is too much scenery to load and my high spec system even cant handle it ?

Thanks

Have now completed all three scenarios . Had no problem at all in loading the "Trouble on the line" which I think is the best of the three. It really shows off what an excellent route this is with great scenery and the scenarios are also well composed with plenty of AI. I hope that someone much cleverer than me can produce some more activities. Would mention that I have 95% of the required routes listed so I do see some "milk bottles" but this has not deterred me. Thoroughly recommended.

What makes you reach that conclusion Derek?

Ok thanks for that, is that standard scenarios or QD?

There are now four standard scenarios on the steam workshop plus quick drive.

Hi Gary

Well, when the scenario appears on the screen, there is a warning message saying please wait until the majority of the scenery is loaded before deleting this message. So I do...but as soon as I click on the "x" to remove the message, my computer crashes !

I have now noticed that there are two routes I don't have the China Clay for Export and the West Highland line, maybe that is the reason for the route not showing in the QD menu despite there being a QD provided if that is the case I will give up and have to unsubscribe from the route.
