Even assuming that you have replaced missing engine with a foreign as per your instructions in RW_Tools, how do you now find it to be able to edit it (add more coaches) On scenery like WCML it could be in Carlisle or at the other end in Glasgow !
I assume that you HAVE to replace missing stock before you can "find" it as missing stock does not show up with a symbol like the milk bottle with missing scenery.

Replace the missing loco in RWTools making a note of the service number of the consist you need to find.
Open the scenario in the editor as previously described and click the timetable icon top left (looks like a pizza with a slice missing) in the left flyout
