Are the South Wales scenarios interchangable?

Post by msey0002 »

Apologies, I might not have phrased the title correctly.

What I am trying to say is this: I have the South Wales Bristol to Swansea route, and I downloaded the DPS scenario pack (thanks for making it :D ). However, due to the different folder structure of the latter, it seems as though this is meant for the Bristol to Cardiff route. Do the two routes use the same markers, so would it be possible for the scenarios run on the Bristol to Swansea route?

If the scenarios would run, what could I do to 'change' the scenarios to the Bristol to Swansea route?

Thanks in advance

I got the SWC scenarios to run in the SWC Bristol to Swansea route.
I copied the scenarios from 000000064 Bristol Cardiff) to 000000068 (Bristol to Swansea) I then edited them in RWTools and saved them to create a new Guid reference numbers, finally deleting the original scenarios in 000000068 that I had copied across. They all seemed to work OK.
I even got a scenario to work from SWC BtoS in SWC using the same technique.

Thank you so much for your response. By guide reference numbers, do you mean the folder path, by any chance?

Not guide but GUID - every route and scenario has a unique GUID. Something like 0e85f124-d147-4efd-ac88-c205b5111ff3

Copy the scenarios from the Bristol - Cardiff route to the Bristol - Swansea route.
Then go in to RW Tools and just edit the scenarios you have copied and when you save it gives them a new GUID.
Finally delete the scenarios in B-S you copied from B-C.
