If you have DTGs South Wales Coastal there should only be a couple of HSTs to swap. In fact two are included in the assets files!

The 158 is from the DTG Class158Pack01 payware.

Re checked and at least some of the stock is where it should be after installing the route but RW tools reports it as missing. Will try to load relevant scenarios and see what happens

If I may contribute to the community effort - and tell me if I'm NOT helping.

There are four missing textures suggested by RW_Tools - my apologies if these points have already been covered...

Jeff Layfield's SteamRoller1.GeoPcDx calls for \Assets\JeffLayf\Scenery\Buildings\texture\havenq_bigwheel.TgPcDx. The textures folder in question holds \hqbigwheel.TgPcDx instead(?) - which I have cloned as \havenq_bigwheel.TgPcDx. Seems an obvious fix...

Oakwood's tm_platlamp_grey-or.GeoPcDx calls for \tm_station_lamps_grey.TgPcDx but actually has \tm_station_lamps_grey-or.TgPcDx packaged with it. The requested TgPcDx is packaged with tm_platlamp_grey.GeoPcDx whence I have copied it - but this may not be the correct fix? Possibly the call should be corrected?

RSC'\UKLEDsignals01's Pro HD OFF Single_blk.GeoPcDx calls for \Signals\Theatres\off_blk.TgPcDx. \Signals\Theatres\off.TgPcDx is available but I've no idea whether this (cloned and renamed) is an acceptable substitute.

UKTS_FP\Housing\PJT\Scenery\Building's FP_PJT_Shop_Front_1.GeoPcDx calls for \garage_texture_01_sm.TgPcDx which I can't find. Any ideas, anyone?

I hope this helps...

Dont forget if the asset is in an .ap file then RWT will report as missing?

Hi John
lets deal with the easy one first...
JohnM1945 wrote:UKTS_FP\Housing\PJT\Scenery\Building's FP_PJT_Shop_Front_1.GeoPcDx calls for \garage_texture_01_sm.TgPcDx
That texture lives where it should on my system, and would appear to be duplicated in ..Assets\UKTS_FP\Housing\COW\Scenery\Buildings\Garage Block\textures.
If you don't have either then I'd suggest making sure you have the latest version of the Freepack installed.
JohnM1945 wrote:Oakwood's tm_platlamp_grey-or.GeoPcDx calls for \tm_station_lamps_grey.TgPcDx
The files are practically identical---one has a pinkish stripe which the other doesn't . Whether that's important or not depends on which part of the texture is being mapped to the area calling for it.

Image

Place one of each lamp side by side in a test route, if it looks OK, then it is OK.
JohnM1945 wrote:RSC'\UKLEDsignals01's Pro HD OFF Single_blk.GeoPcDx calls for \Signals\Theatres\off_blk.TgPcDx.
\Signals\Theatres\off.TgPcDx is available but I've no idea whether this (cloned and renamed) is an acceptable substitute.
Probably not---files are renamed for a reason, and the only times that reason would be erroneous are if there's a 123.TgPcDx file and one named along the lines of 123.TgPcDx(2) or 123 - Copy.TgPcDx, indicating a slip of the mouse and an unintended copy operation.

The _blk in this case would suggest either 'black' or 'blank' meaning that one has the word OFF on it, the other doesn't:

Image

effectively it's creating a 'dummy' banner repeater.

Try this texture--- https://ln.sync.com/dl/71e08cf00#b9qc44 ... 5-q9s2j723 just stick it in the ..Assets\RSC\UKLEDsignals01\RailNetwork\Signals\Theatres folder

Martin; are you getting weird skies in all scenarios or just those set at a particular time?
Could you post a screenshot?

Yeah even though the screenie doesn't do it justice. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =811998357 It is more lurid in-game, and for 22:37 too light. Tried a mid afternoon scenario and that seems about right.

I have had that for years (at least TS2014) and thought it was just a late sunset (or the Northern Lights?)!

What influences it as all the day time settings are fine it is just at night??

... later ... just been playing with the weather settings (right fly-out) on a blank route and that sky appears at all seasons - but if I change to a 3D style it goes really dark (in all seasons)? Is it related to general graphics settings??

Gary,

Thanks for your suggestions!

To respond to specific points - skip the rest of this if real life beckons...

Garage texture: yes, I have the latest pack, I think - version 1.1.1? And yes, the relevant texture IS in the COW garage block folder (but NOT in PJT's housing folder) . Can't think why I didn't find it - I thought I'd searched all of the FP housing texture folders looking for it. Sorted!

Oakwood lights: since this is an Oakwood asset used in an Oakwood route, I'll go with your suggestion - unless/until Oakwood advise(s) otherwise...

Off_blk texture: Thanks!

Kind regards,

John M

John, Peter here!

I keep the master files and remark as below:-

I know you are sorted here but I have just resinstalled the FP file and all files, inc. the textures, are where they should be?

The Oakwood files are mine. Although this little error on my part makes no real difference I have corrected it in the route/assets file on the website.

Hopefully that is all the rivets accounted gfor now {vbg}

Thanks, Peter!

Yes, that's my (very minor) anomalies dealt with.

Thanks!

I'd say that's not an issue with the route, but because the scenario uses one of the handful of weather/time of day patterns that one of the earlier upgrades to the base game *broke*.

Simply edit the scenario with RW Tools or the games Scenario Editor to use a different weather pattern.

After making sure I had installed the latest assets and repointed the Island Line scenery references to the correct place, I still have the following missing assets:

\Assets\kngtrains\Misc_NG\railnetwork\TrackRules\1 Default Track Rules Rusty.bin
\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\RailNetwork\Interactive\Conti_twin_20ft_019.bin
\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\RailNetwork\Interactive\Conti_twin_20ft_020.bin
\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\RailNetwork\TrackRules\-All Track TR- (2).bin
\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\RailVehicles\Freight\HTA-EWS\Default\Wagon\hta_ews_static.bin
\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\Vehicles\VehiclesNew\Truck_00s_01.bin
\Assets\Kuju\RailSimulator\scenery\Vehicles\VTVan.bin

I understand that the track rules are not necessary, but where can I find the other files? Hints appreciated.

To Traveller54 (Route Author)

Just a question, but are you planning on releasing an update to the route, when the various anomalies mentioned, are resolved ?

Thanks

Derek
