Swapping catenary?

Post by smarty2 »

Had a look on the tutorials page about swapping catenary, noticed there was one about removing it but what I would like to know is how can I swap out the catenary used in the Albula v2.b route for Thomsons Albula one? Is it even possible... Also Signals, I'm guessing that is a whole different kettle of fish?
Best Regards

Yes. The process would be the same for swapping track or indeed any asset. The tutorial on swapping track will help you.

Catenary swapping might be possible, but would depend upon them being exactly the same size and height as the ones you were replacing. Try swapping a few on a clone of your route?

As for signals, I doubt if this is possible as you would need to swap exactly the right type for each junction.

I'm not arguing (just explaining why I'm right).
