Vulcan Productions Preserved Deltics
After the big reveal of our list of 13 locos (each preserved example in Blue and Green variants - and a bonus D9000 as D9007 Pinza) we had one more thing tucked up our sleeves.
It really has been a body of work to get it done, but to come out the other side and see it completed is simply fantastic - along with people's reactions online.
So without further ado, ladies and gentlemen I reveal - D9016 'The Purple Peril' fully recreated in Porterbrook livery with fully functional WIPAC headlight clusters, multiple HD decals and much custom scripting and controls to tie everything all in together.

Re: Vulcan Productions Preserved Deltics
How brilliant is this - my word you have some clever guys producing this level of quality on the finished product. Well done
Re: Vulcan Productions Preserved Deltics
Thank you, and yes we do. The scripting would never have been so complete without the help of Chris Barnes but with the exception of that and a skin from Richard Fletcher, the rest is all my own work.equiglobal wrote:How brilliant is this - my word you have some clever guys producing this level of quality on the finished product. We still have to make the twin engined variants now, as it isn't as simple in running terms as the WR Hydraulics were sadly, so that should be entertaining to do with the addition of particles that mimic real world behaviour too.

Re: Vulcan Productions Preserved Deltics
Another 2 have joined the party - that makes 10 out of 15 altogether.
Some detail shots to show some of the custom shapes/decals on D9016

Re: Vulcan Productions Preserved Deltics
Got quite an exciting update, this video shows it all better than I can explain, but the twin engine version is very much WIP in terms of how the locos actually work.

Re: Vulcan Productions Preserved Deltics
Stunning is this a new model or did you rework the old kuju assets
Re: Vulcan Productions Preserved Deltics
Underneath is the default Kuju Deltic believe it or not, it's just I/we've put a lot of stuff on top of it to make it look better (vents, nameplates, logos, plaques etc etc).deltic1981 wrote:Stunning is this a new model or did you rework the old kuju assets
