You're joking right? (If you are the sense of humour hasn't come out well in writing).
It was one unit out of the whole batch and so was totally uncommon compared to what was standard. You can't slam AP for not including something that makes very little difference whatsoever to your experience of the unit.
I imagine a lot of the decision on what was included in the Class 40 was down to RailRight more than AP.
Consider yourself lucky to have a 205 at all, and that some producer such as AP was kind enough to put in the time and effort to make it an addon of the highest order.
