logging on to steam and TS2016

Hi
I was wondering if anyone else is having problems logging on to steam and or TS2016,I can't seem to be able to,when I click on either icon nothing happens.
Both were okay this morning,but now neither will start up now.

I can logon without any problems.

I have discovered that Steam *really* does not like working through my VPN ! Regards.
