Must be your internet connection. What kind of internet-speed do you have? Mine downloaded w/o problems at the regular speed for such a big file.

Nice loco, bit hard to drive but that is a matter of gaining experience. One thing though, the sounds are not all that great on my installation. Anyone having the same problem?

Depends what you mean by sounds not been great, sound errors or your opinion their quality?

Personally speaking its' about the best we could do with a loco type that hasn't run in the "digital" age so to speak,in fact I think they're the best JT sounds to date :)

Any comment on the function of the brakes in Intermediate mode almark? Or could this be an installation issue?

Cheers mate.

I haven't used the loco in intermediate mode but hopefully Chris Barnes will see this post, failing that if you think there's a problem then send JT a bug report,it'll reach everyone that way :)

I'm struggling with the brakes on intermediate mode too. Might just be me though.

The sounds of the V2 at lower speeds are stuttering if you know what I mean and by no means in line with the wheelmotion. At higher speeds though (2nd valve?) the sounds are much better. I seem to remember that sounds in TS have something to do with graphics (limitations) rather than sound hardware/software, is this true? If so the problem on my installation could well be the graphics card I have as it is a bit old (NVidia Geforce GT330, 2GB)

The age of your graphics card is not the issue, it is the actual specification.

Take a look at this link and you will see my outgoing graphics card of 2013, versus what you have and you can see the key areas of difference. Sadly the only department your card has my old one beaten in is in the power it draws from the supply.

I have found they stutter slightly on lower Frame Rates, that could well be the issue?

To get the best out of the lower speed sounds I'd say you need a FPS of 40 or more.

The issue with the brakes in Intermediate Mode has made it into our bugs area so it will be looked at.

OK thanks for the responses deltic & almark. So it is a graphics issue rather than a sound issue then?
