I find myself in agreement with you ;)
But as the poking around solves peoples problems, like where to stick that file list, carry on :)

Any more of that cheek young man, and I'll really tell you where to stick it.. :o ........

I'm hoping I'll actually have time this morning to get the route installed and have a proper look at it!

The route's rather nice; a fair few badly rendered cross overs but nothing that a cut 'n weld wouldn't cure.
Haven't had time for a good run on it, but as a route to play it's grand.
The installation package and installation itself are terrible though---that certainly needs working on if there's ever an updated version. I can see how it stands keeping the support side of the UKTS forum busy.

One thing I noticed when the route was extracted it created the route folder in another folder of the same name so when I copied it across it did not appear.

Thanks Peter for that information,I had done everything to the letter, but I couldn't get it to show either in TS 2016 or RW Tools.

Hi All,

I have tried out one of the standard scenarios included with the route. 2E87 0807 Plymouth to Exeter St Davids.

However I am missing some stock and I cant seem to identify where they might be from.

G:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Thomson_Oovee\Class150Pack01\RailVehicles\Class150\Livery_FGWNEW\Class150_DMS.bin
G:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\RailWorks\Assets\Thomson_Oovee\Class150Pack01\RailVehicles\Class150\Livery_FGWNEW\Class150_DMSL.bin

A search of the UKTS library could not find any FGWNEW

Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Thanks.

Just use RW Tools to swap it for one you do have--that particular item has been mentioned before, not just in connection with this route.

Cool, thanks Gary. I shall just replace it with a normal FGW.

Cheers.

Thanks to Peter I have now got it running,it was inside a folder in the content, now another problem running the Cornishman, the player FGW HST is all there, but some of the AI FGW HST'S has a missing coach.

I've run the scenario through the latest RW Tools, and according to it all the coaches are there.

A really nice modern west country route

RW Tools is saying all the .bin files are there, make sure the .GeoPcDx files are present.
These are the shape files that call for the texture, so one of those missing can result in blanks/gaps in a consist.

RW Tools says I'm missing a number of assets

Project Platform Phorum Peninsula
Western Main Lines
\Assets\DevL\BarnstapleExeter\
\Assets\DevL\SouthWest\
\Assets\RSC\MP02_Town\

I know you get Barnstaple - Exeter off DTG but I have no idea what SouthWest or MP02_Town is?

The platform at Totnes was missing when I did a run - not sure if it comes off one of the above.

Also the Asset list in the file does not show requirements of quite a few other routes to get the thing to work.
ECMLS
WCML 2
Quarry Pack
Mallaig - Fort William

Barnstaple to Exeter is not a route available via Steam or by Dovetail Games, it is a downloadable route from DP Simulations if I recall correctly.

Oops my mistake - I did get the route from there a while back.
