Yes I did

I found one but it wasn't much good as it was taken from a stream and had problems with having to lower the scenery because of lag.

A really nice loco,which you can drive on any GWR steam era route,in fact with what's available including this one you could run from GWR 1930's through to BR 1950's up until 1957 when 4056/61 were still active,I also found some Clerestory Coaches by Gordon Mackenzie,which will be useful for GWR era trains.

Nice video. The Star looks real good and so do the Collet 'Sunshine' coaches. Sounds are really good as well. Not sure if they are real Star sounds as there is no Star loco at the moment that recordings can be made of, but I guess she sounded pretty much like a Castle, the type that was developed from the Star Class.
As far as the scenario is concerned there is a minor issue that I personally do not like nor understand and that is the BR crimson & cream and even maroon passenger stock used by some AI trains in an obvious GWR time setting. Oh well, RW Tools can do wonders here

Sounds are, as far as I've understood, from a Hall. Because no better sounds are available.

I've only been able to drive part of one of the scenarios, the 2nd scenario, and I liked it a lot. The amount and variation of AI in the scenario makes it really immersive.

Unfortunately it also made it quite slow on my computer... Some tweaking with the settings can hopefully help!

And a little bit of speeding in one place killed my score unfortunately But that's to do with my skill, not with the scenario itself!

Just played a very nice Steam Workshop scenario for the Start as well, 22:00 Leicester-Paignton.

Very nice scenario using also the LMS P3 coaches from Gordon Mack!

You're advised to pick up water from the water troughs between Exminster and Starcross, I failed to get the water scoop down with keyboard commands before I turned around in cab to try to tender, but made it to the end without extra water. (Was running low however - but made it!)

When you look at the screenshots of the Start locomotive, you see clearly that the curvature of the nameplates doesn't manage the curvature of the wheels.

I know that there is a reason for that - the nameplates had already been made for wheels of a different diameter, when it was decided to use them for these engines with this wheel diameter.

I can't find back however the site where I read about this (couldn't find it in Wikipedia) - does anyone have a reference to this info somewhere online? Which also has a list of the members of the class which had such nameplates? Because as far as I recall, not all Star - class engines had their nameplates looking like this.

Are you sure you are not confusing it with the former Dukedog series of nameplate which were moved to Castles after their namesakes complained? Taking the names from another class would have been unlikely at the time of construction, as the curved style of nameplate with a brass trim was only introduced around the year 1900.
In some cases, an extra long nameplate with regular sized lettering may have the curvature increased to fit it all in.

Now that you say it, I probably am! Which also explains why I couldn't find it.

I was already beginning to wonder - should I look up the Dukedogs - but still thought it was with the Stars I read about this nameplate moving.

It was the Dukedogs that peed off a selection of older director types of the GWR about names. The story goes that Collett was getting annoyed by regular requests from various minor aristocrats and GWR directors to have locomotives named after them. He gladly obliged and seeing it was in the 1930s at the height of GWR big 4 cylinder building period they expected that was what their names would be on so were less than impressed when the distinctly Victorian looking Dukedogs appeared bearing their names. Not long after the names were indeed moved onto a batch of Castles.
