Traction depot Ipswich to Norwich route

Post by rosschris10 »

Thought this would be a handy post for people waiting for this amazi detailed route. Seeing as the steam sale is still on TD have revealed what is needed for the route extension to work. And don't look like to long for release either yippeee

To take advantage of the remaining days of the sale currently on at Steam; here are the requirements for GEML London to Norwich:

+ GEML London to Ipswich route
+ South London Lines route
+ ECML London to Peterborough
+ WCML Trent Valley

I know some people will not have all of these routes or understand why so much DLC was used. All I can say is that the original GEML route is three years old now and the addition of assets from the other DLC has allowed me to update the original and create the overall effect I wanted.

There will be models of Norwich station freely available for download with the route.

Details of route release will be announced soon.

I for one cannot wait to do a full run in this route and I cannot
Believe Td have done all this work and are still doing it as a freeware route the screenshots look absoliutly amazing soma huge thank you traction depot from me to you and others I imagine

Hi mate. Sorry don't know if I misread your post but just to point out I am not behind the route in anyway I only posted the above which was a copy and paste from the traction depot FB post to help others not on FB. Traction depot are a seperate person from me. However i agree fully with your comments that TD have done a fantastic job

Have you downloaded the two files stated in the Workshop notes? Then restart TS2016

Also for Norwich, it draws on the Wherry Lines route

Yep, downloaded them and copied the 'Asset' & 'Content' folder to my RW folder.

I have all the requirements, and it seemed to have downloaded the 130mb route ok.

Are the contents of the Asset and Contents folder copied correctly; are there any duplicate folder structures?

I'm in the process of using Package Manager to put together the content required so it will be easier to install.
