UKPro Signals can't be added to new route?

Post by project76 »

Hi all,

Working on a completely new (fictional) route, and for some reason none of the UKPro signals and buffer lights want to stay when I add them. I click to put one down and instead of the link-zero appearing, nothing. If I click again, the dead signal moves to the new position, and if I right-click, it's gone again.

I've not had this trouble before, the only difference on this route is that I pre-set the terrain textures to UKTS-FP. Have I missed something I need to do?

Here's my route XML

Code: Select all

Open a route that you know uses the signals in the editor and try adding another one--that'll determine whether the assets are at fault or the route.
Can you add any other type of signal to your route?

Hi, I couldn't add any signals or objects with tack links. I ended up re-installing TS2016 and the feature packs and now it's editing properly again. Stupid bugs - wish I knew why it does this??

I'm sure that's come up before and rather than being a bug is caused by having the *wrong* setting applied in the editor---wish I could remember what it was... :-?

It has come up several times and I can't remember the specific issue, but it is to do with one of the radio buttons in the editor for scaling or rotation being selected IIRC
