I'm still on probation - so no PM's for me...

This is a bit odd - I've suddenly lost all the track textures and a lot of ground textures in this route. I'm not aware of having done anything drastic to my TS settings (all my other routes including ECML South are OK), and I have done a local game cache check and deleted the blueprint temp file as recommended elsewhere (several times!).

Would it be best to reinstall the whole route or is there something else I should be checking first?

Sounds like you've lost or moved the DTG ECML-S route which is used for track and some terrain stuff - that's my guess at least.

Quick update on latest progress:

I re-visited my route cloning tool and realised there was a way of cloning the actual track as well as everything else - so I hacked around a bit more and created something that works - and then did the 45 miles from Arlesey to south of Peterborough in an hour or so..... And then did the really clever bit of blending that in with CreativeRail's super P'boro to York route --so my route now has three different routes in it - and the ability to run from Kings Cross to Grantham (I hope) and possibly beyond (assuming the game engine can cope).

Obviously there is a load to do in reverting to the 1950s but that is the fun bit

Offord curves (try taking these boys at 100mph and see where it gets you!)
nightmare at Huntingdon
re-appearance of long-lost stations at Offord, Abbots Ripton, Tempsford and Holme.

It was all going so well ..And then my brand new PC died on its ar$e. Currently awaiting a new PSU.

Many thanks for the update about your Cambridgeshire Route,hope get your computer up and running again soon.
I was thinking the only thing missing for the route is some really good Pullman Cars,maybe Gordon could make some,as the would also be handy for the 2 new routes Great Western Mainline 1950's and Southampton Weymouth.

I'm doing a Queen of the South scenario to go with it - and am using the available Mk1 Pullmans though I'm not quite sure they existed before 1960 - some of the earlier models would be great too,.

new PSU arrives Monday - just depends on the rest of the PC still being ok... and me not wiring it wrong of course

Have you considered using Richard Scott's Brighton Belle (UKTS: 29327) until someone, somewhere does a Pullman set?

I looked at it - but as far as I can tell it is the electric version and not suitable for the ECML?

I have had a look at them and unfortunately there is a Brighton Belle headboard on the roof of each of them. Now with your skills you could possibly remove this? Time permitting, of course!

The other problem using the Brighton Belle set there are no Pullman Brake Cars,for the Queen of Scots and some other Pullman Trains you really need Pullman Parlour and Pullman Kitchen cars

You can use the MK1 Pullman's with steam locomotives,I've seen some photos of the Tees/Tyne Pullman with Mk1 Pullman and hauled by a A1 and also a A4 locomotives.
