A2 60500 Edward Thompson was a New England locomotive also 60520 Owen Tudor,unfortunately Kings Cross didn't have any allocated to it,Peterborough New England had a allocation of 10.

Yes but that was the Thompson A2/3 which was very different to the Peppercorn version of the A2. All the New England examples were of course regular visitors to KX so would be valid for the route, but you need a new model for that.

The only other New England locomotive be sides 60532 Blue Peter is 60533 Happy Night they are both the same,60529 Pearl Diver was a 65B St Rollox locomotive.

These following files might fix your problem David.I noticed in this last update there are some blueprint files for a BR_7plankstatic_05.bin and BR_7plankstatic_10.bin but i dont know if they are used in the route as i didnt notice RW-Tools saying they were missing.Anyway they wont work without file ID 33392 installed first.
You can get BR_7plankstatic_00.bin by installing this UKTS file ID 33392 http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... leid=33392
You can get all the BR_Vans by installing this UKTS file ID 33402 http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... leid=33402

Hi Neil

Could I make a small request for a future release of this great route - at Hitchin I am pleased to note that you have a stub of the Hitchin-Bedford line for a mile or so (although you have it as a double track whereas it became single after about half a mile north of Hitchin). If you could extend this a little (to a portal perhaps) there is the possibility of introducing some of the Bedford traffic in scenarios, we already have the 3F and Ivatt 2-6-2 which were regular on these workings, plus the Stanier 2-6-4T which is in the pipeline and turned up on the odd occasion.

I am also delighted to find on the ECML just north of Hitchin my favourite place - Cadwell Crossing which was purely a wooden crossing for walkers following the Icknield Way. You have got it just as I remember, but with one exception, there was an old bungalow close by the tracks diagonally opposite the box which had a strange feature - it was not connected to a water supply and was therefore serviced by a strange afternoon working which usually involved a J6 working light engine from the north and stopping on the crossing to deliver water in milk churns! I have a couple of old photos which I found on the internet showing part of this bungalow if you're interested, plus some of the first few miles of the Bedford branch.

I can remember in South Africa on some of the rural routes on a Monday a train would set off with tank wagons filled with water,they dropped off at wayside stations,it was the water for the week and the small dorp the station served.

Maybe if the ECML goes to Sandy you could put the Varsity line in.it ran from Cambridge Sandy Bedford and onto Oxford,closed in the late 1960's.

Thanks Michael - I've already put the starter in - running out of Cambridge station and through Lords Bridge (I need to do a munitions train scenario at some stage). However I want to stay relatively focused on the main bits rather than dive off (any more than I've already done...). I've changed the Hitchin to Bedford piece as I had done it but obviously wrongly - and added some extra detail into cadwell too..

As you may have seen, I have uploaded some re-skins for the A1 and A3 - I will add an 'official' version of my suburban run (using the N2) which features both types in a supporting role. Hopefully then follow with a Queen of Scots run for some easy fun.
