The sound isn't affected by the windows in the DTC unfortunately. This would require the whole sound set to be loaded up again in the DTC cab and would be a little unwise memory wise for something so subtle that would become inaudible after 15mph-ish.

I can't really explain the thumper reverb unfortunately, it must just be the nature of the sound reverbs differently. Can 100% say that reverb is route specific though and not to do with rolling stock.
