Yeah I saw this I do have the AP sound pack installed and have reinstalled it twice lolgptech wrote:Have you installed the AP soundpack?..... http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... y+class+87
I've also tried installing the AP sound pack to desktop and moving the files but still no joy. And clearing catch.
I have also tried the default version and the brakes still don't work
Thanks Dave:)

Do any of the keyboard functions work---H to turn the lights on, V for wipers etc?

Yeah all the other keyboard functions work ok but not the :/@ for brakes
I did try looking at the Class87_Intercity.bin file with RW tools however I have no idea what I'm looking for/at.
Thanks Dave:)

Re: Class 87 IC Brakes
It is to do with the way TS checks for and references Input Mappers. I imagine you've got the WCML over Shap installed and the Input Mapper for the Class 87 that comes with the WCML over Shap is named "class87_mapper.bin" exactly the same as the stand alone Class 87. TS seems to check the input mappers and references the first one it alphabetically comes across and the Shap one is a bit more advanced and not completely compatible with the stand alone version.
I'll need to have a look at my fix to see my changes. I think it was as simple as renaming the input mapper file and making sure the Class87.bin referenced the newly renamed file.

For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it

Ta Phil...I'd forgotten about the conflicting input mappers even though I've applied the fix

I should really package it up and put it in the library.
Bit busy with work things tonight, see what I can do tomorrow.
