VR have said on Facebook that they intend to make the original and converted Metropolitan sets with the BR101. At the moment they are appealing for some info on seating diagrams.

Given Maik's answer above my guess would be the 101 will come first. But it all depends on how well it will go. Per another answer apparently Maik is not going to release the 101 until he's "satisfied"with the product.

I can only promise one thing yet: it will be a way different 101 to all these others out there. Especially in regulating bahaviour. I'm spending days and nights since a few weeks into the scripting and sound research for it, trying to get the best result that you can get in that way too short timescale. We will see if it can blow away all these others or not. At the end it will be a usual vR Expert-Line with some extra effort into the new sound, and some other new gimmicks such as a simple working EBuLa (10 blank Pages, Day/Night, On/Off .. to get armed with content by smart users out there).

Ein kurzer Statusbericht um die Wartezeit zu verlängern.

Im Moment findet eine Einbau- und Testphase statt, in der eine vollständig neue PZB implementiert werden soll. Diese wird noch vorbildgerechter arbeiten als bisher und auch vollständige Überlagerungen beherrschen. Sollte dies gelingen, wird also eine neue PZB in der 101EL vorhanden sein.

Auch an der LZB wird gearbeitet um ein paar Fehler loszuwerden, aber ein Erfolg ist hier unwarscheinlich, da die LZB Funktion im TS ein steiniger Weg ist und mit vorbildgerechter LZB wenig zu tun hat. Wir werden es dennoch einmal versuchen.

Dazu wird daran gearbeitet, die vorhandenen IC Wagen samt Steuerwagen an die 101EL anzupassen, damit diese doch recht häufig vorkommenden Zugverbände auch dargestellt werden können. Die Wagen werden dazu dem Paket beigelegt und sind nur zur 101EL kompatibel, denn die Wagen müssen dafür technisch komplett neu aufgebaut werden.

Wir suchen immer noch nach bestimmten Informationen zum Metropolitan und MET-ICE Wagenmaterial. Es fehlen noch die Anschriften an den Wagen von außen. Also die Pictogramme und Bremsanschriften etc. und deren Anordnung. Wenn hier irgendwer verlässliche Informationen beisteuern kann, wären wir dankbar.
