Post by michaelhendle »

Hi

Just need some advice re these Locomotives,I've down loaded as per instructions, ran ap using 7p for West Somerset Railways as per instructions, copied the GeoPcDX from the default engine to 6960,6990,7903,and Tender GeoPcDx from the default Tender,to 6960,6984,6990 and 6998.for some unknown reason there are no engine instruction for 6984 and 6998.

Do those 2 locos show if you place them in a new free roam scenario Mike?

Hi

After a lot of fiddling around I have 6960 Raveningham Hall showing including name and number ok,6990 Witherslack Hall also showing name and number ok,6984 Owesden Hall show loco but name and number missing,6988 Burton Agnes Hall loco shows but again name and number missing.

Looking in the engine file for 6984 & 6988 there is only a texture folder( no bin lines),the other 2 6960 & 6990,the engine file looks identical to the default engine file.

There is only a texture folder to fix the Buffer beam texture bug on the Collet tender since it uses the buffer beam texture from the main loco and not from the Tender Textures so you have to include the main 4 textures otherwise you get the white yellow and black missing textures on it.

They are only there for other tender skins and logos since the loco only uses 3 engines folders for all the skins just multiple engine .bins to save file size were as there are a wide variety of tenders since they were often shared between the class so had to create multiple folders. Since for example one of them is just a blank display tender with no lining or logo they used in 2010 so that needed its own folder but didnt need a loco folder other than the files required to fix the bug.

Other than that the locos that are listed in the .pdf are the locos that are available and in there respective liveries they have had during there life (minus the BR Black one).
