How to widen a platform?

Hi all. Making a route which involves wide platforms. I'm a big fan of the platforms used by Thomson (EG ones) which only come in platform edge format, in the scenery section. I've got 2 questions: How do I widen the platform base (as well as other platforms from the platforms section) and how do I go about filling in an island platform without having to overlap?

Any help appreciated

Just an idea as not done this myself but, any item with an appropriate texture can be resized. Some routes come with filler blocks or such as the AP set of station buildings and items also has various sized blocks. I have even used the slate roof of a factory before, spun over until flat to create a cobble section. Looks good as long as it does not have a chimney

to change the size of the platform you do this in the bin file or you can do what i do reskin a 3m platform and use this for filling in the gaps

Liam, have you had a look to see just what other assets Thomson used in E&G to produce a full platform?

Thomson use custom station bases and only fill in the platform edge. However, I've noticed DPS have used the platform edge with the base in their route, but I'm not sure how to do it.

Use AP blocks to fill in/make platform areas by changing the scale and align to platform edge. Then add an invisible platform. There is an example in the attached photo.
