Re: For those interested in statistics Steam Spy
I was impressed to find that TS2016 has 813,901 owners. Until I saw that Goat Simulator has 2,315,054 owners.
Re: For those interested in statistics Steam Spy
Yeah, but TS2016 median play time is about 4 times that of GS (in my case, it's way more than that...)longbow wrote:I was impressed to find that TS2016 has 813,901 owners. Until I saw that Goat Simulator has 2,315,054 owners.

It's amazing to see what kind of simulators there are. Even Grass Simulator.
And poor little Island Flight Simulator:
684 owners (+/- 668), players total 513 +/- 578.

Re: For those interested in statistics Steam Spy
So if there are 800,000 subscribers and say the average DLC owned incl TS is $50 (mine is nearer $2K) that brings in $40,000,000 - that's not a bad business, and if the average is say $100 per simmer, that's $80,000,000 - big bucks!

Re: For those interested in statistics Steam Spy
I imagine many TS owners never get as far as buying DLC. Those doing so are likely closer in number to the 66k players logged over the last 2 weeks.
