Looks good so far! Are you modifying any of the trackside scenery e.g. Trees e.t.c.?

Hi, WM route dev here. The patch that is coming out will change the layout of a fair bit of the track in places, smooth bumps and reduce track side foliage. just a heads up so you have some warning in advance.

2018 or 2020? ....make your mind up.
As JT can't/won't give a release date for the official patch, when will yours be released?
Will it affect the official route or be a new, cloned and modernised version?

I'll be waiting for the official patch whilst enjoying driving on the unpatched route in the meantime.

Hi All

I know this is slightly off the subject topic, but I am working on expanding the Western Mainlines to cover Bristol - Worcester, Cheltenham Spa - Severn Tunnel Junction & Cheltenham Spa - Swindon. I have so far got the Bristol - Ashchurch & Cheltenham - Stroud track done, but was wondering if it is worth carrying on with this or waiting for the patch, but from what I gather this will be a long way off? It is simply a clone of the original route that I am working on for this expansion. By the way can't wait for the unofficial route with electrification, looks good already.

Many Thanks

Patch is not as far off as people make out, only person who knows when it will be ready though is myself. lots of adjustments to a lot of different bits so you may want to wait (the track has had some major adjustments in places)

I'd say there's no need to rush the patch for most folk; the only one shouting about it is going to produce his own, far superior, version anyway so he won't be bothered either
