Foundation Route suggests either a marketplace or workshop addon possibly to follow or be encouraged.

Hopefully DTG will listen to their customers for once, and while it might put the route release back a bit, extend the the route to Swansea or Camathen, then they could do the same as they with some other routes, extend it later from either Swansea or Camathen to Fishgaurd.

I think the "bit" might be a bigger "bit" than you imagine if that were to happen.

I'm pleased they have not done the NWC with the 175 - this would of meant it being set in the modern route era, which is boring nowadays - no freightliner terminal at Holyhead, no sheds at Llandudno Junction or Rhyl, the industrial workings at Holywell, loss of some loop lines and no slow/fast lines. I've probably missed a fair bit out too. Meh!

I'd like the route to be set in BR Green 60's or BR Blue 70's if we ever do see it.

In saying that though, I'm not against modern routes and of course the 175 will be a welcome addition, I won't bother with the route myself though if the 175 becomes available as a separate item.
Class 40's enjoyed their working life so much they whistled whilst they worked

175's are my favourite DMU's. They are the most comfortable DMU to travel on.
Also don't forget, you can use the 175 on WCMLoS to simulate the First North Western days as they operated 175's to Windermere.

Oooooh, yes please, Menai Bridge, Conwy Castle and the stone quarry at Penmaenmawr for our ballast workings with Class 40s, Chester No. 2 signal box in all her glory, I'd certainly pay for that on day 1 release.....

The 175 is looking good but the doors don't look quite right. The pictures give the impression that the doors are set in from the bodyside when in fact they should be flush. It might just be the pictures but if not then it is a very big error that is very obviously wrong.

I'm not sure. The 175s do have a very thick black rubber strip round the door which may be causing the effect in game but I agree, some of those do look like they are not flush.
If only all problems on the big railway could simply be TAB'd past...
