Help - Loss of legacy content after update

Post by jands1 »

TS has just done some sort of quick on line update - I cannot see what has changed - and it looks like it will now not recognise any of my old legacy routes or content.
The routes load but they are just a whiteout except for a few signals and markers and one or two odd assets, and no consists are being recognised
All works fine in TS15 - its the latest version (54.5b) which seems to be the problem.
Anyone had this or know of the fix - I could email them but they are very little help

Well good news and bad news - it seems to be up and running again but not sure why.
In case it helps anyone here's what I did - I always work my routes on cloned copies not the originals
1 - moved the current routes and assets files to a spare folder
2 - replaced them with untouched copies of of original routes and all assets
3 - deleted cache and player profile files in the content folder

I then checked this was working OK - it was but slow

Changed all the graphic settings again as deleting the player profile files defaults them back to max settings

4 - Started to bring back in my operating routes one by one checking as I went - all OK but slow
5 - Reset my nvidia graphics card settings to "let 3d application decide"
6 - Rebooted computer

DON'T DO THIS IF YOU USE ANY OF THE OTHER FEATURE WHICH PLAYER PROFILES MIGHT AFFECT
