Managed to find destinations but cannot find portals in the editor.
The freeware route I am doing a scenario for has very few portals so wanted to add one or 2.
Many thanks
Where can I find Portals to add to a scenario?

Portals are not available in the scenario editor. I'm afraid you will just have to live with what exists in the route already.
Expanding the TS wagon fleet.

OK thanks - will look to add to the route itself. Where are they located in editor out of interest?malkymackay wrote:Portals are not available in the scenario editor. I'm afraid you will just have to live with what exists in the route already.

You will find them by clicking the "semaphore signal" icon in the mid left fly out then scroll the list.chrisreb wrote:OK thanks - will look to add to the route itself. Does altering the validinscenarios flag within a portal's .bin file from eFalse to eTrue work?.
I know it does for the AWS ramps.

Re: Where can I find Portals to add to a scenario?
If you wish a portal to "spawn" AI or a consist, or even the player train itself, these markers are available in the scenario editor. But not Portals to extinguish a consist. I assume that you wish to remove consists soon after they have interacted with the player train. I find that there is very little overhead (in FPS) in letting them go on to a distant portal.
In saying that, all routes that I build or extend have a multitude of portals - you cannot have too many!

Agree - as this route is 190 miles long I wanted a few of the consists I pass to get out of the way. The author did not put many siding markers in so thought portals was easiest.
