California Zephyr Coming to TS.

Lovely train.
But does this mean the Feather River Canyon will be a backdated route? Because I'm not a fan of running vintage rolling stock on modern routes.

The Feather River Canyon route is set in Western Pacific days (before the 1981 Union Pacific takeover). The 'classic' (pre-Amtrak) Burlington - Rio Grande - Western Pacific 'California Zephyr' last ran in March 1970. The already announced WP U30B's first arrived on the property in 1967, so if I had to put a date on the route I would say the late sixties...

Very much looking forward to the Budd stainless steel cars. Hoping someone will reskin them into CP and/or VIA Rail since they ran in Canada much later than they ran in the States.
