Did anyone notice during the preview the reference to a Wales route? The discussion was about where 40145 could be used and there was comment about routes in England, Scotland and with a knowing grin from both presenters also Wales.

yeah i saw that however it has not been said there is a confirmed welsh route so as usual on here speculation runs wild all we know is that there is a arriva train wales train been build that people keep asking for does not mean we will have a welsh route to run it on though it could be a loco for the manchester liverpool route were the 185's appear. Far to much specualtion goes on in here and it then causes arguements i do not believe anything i read on here until it is confirmed by DTG by means of there usual updates on engine driver, Facebok twitter etc

Hoping that's a nod towards a route the Class 175 will come with or at least scenarios for it.

Putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with a much larger odd number...... Chester--North Wales coast? Chester is their 'home town', the coastal route has been repeatedly requested where it matters (Facebook, Engine Driver) and is a perfect route for any class 40.
Cambrian Coast post ERTMS is probably out, they would have only worked that for 4-5 years in ATW stewardship

AFIK the 175's are not permitted along the Cambrian Coast line even before ETRMS.

I think Cambrian Coast was used in error, they mean the Chester to Holyhead line along the North coast of Wales - not sure what name the line has.

It's simply called the North Wales Coast line.
Or of course you could call it the Rheilffordd Arfordir Gogledd Cymru.

Whoo! Almost a 1GB download, sounds like a pretty high level of detail in the locomotive.
