Hey guys,
Not looked at creating scenario in a good while. I noticed that Trigger instructions can be used, and one of them is a emergency brakes application. What I would like to know, is can this be triggered automatically by passing a certain point or does it require the play to manually do an emergency stop?
I would like to re-create an instance like with the JT Voyagers/Meridian faults when a fault happens and then the train stops - if so, does this need to be done using LUA scripting?
The loco in use if that matters would be a default class 47 or an Oovee Class 57

Re: Question about trigger instructions
Pretty sure you can do it without any scripting.
There is a scenario on Newcastle to York using the original HST that has an Emergency brake application
Its a football special I think
editing that (if you have it) should show how its done

Re: Question about trigger instructions
The trigger instruction has been around for ages and needs no LUA scripting. It is driven by the length of time after the previous instruction. So to trigger an emergency brake application, create a 'stop at' instruction, not forgetting to set the speed at 1 mph. Then after that put in a 'trigger' instruction, ticking the brake application box. If you want the application to happen immediately, leave the time at 00:00. If you want to have it happen afterwards, set a time delay eg 00:30. Or you can create a destination marker as a 'stop at' point at your desired location and set a 00:00 lag in trigger instruction.
