Getting BNSF DLC Outside The US.
I have had a pm from a friend who lives in Canada who got his son who works in the US to gift him BNSF DLC and was very happy when he got them. So if you know someone who lives in the US get them to gift you BNSF DLC. Yes people in Canada are also excluded from not being able to get BNSF DLC.

how does the system know you are outside the US?
If its on ip address then you could simply use a proxy or VPN when ordering the DLC. If its based on the accounts location, could you not just update the accounts location and then set it back?

If you were to purchase the DLC thru Steam your home address on your Steam account might tell them if you are in the US or not.

Steam uses both your home address and your IP to figure out where you are and which rule set to apply to you. Being in the situation of part time living outside the UK and part time in the UK, it has caused fun and games for me with steam749006 wrote:If you were to purchase the DLC thru Steam your home address on your Steam account might tell them if you are in the US or not.

Sure you can. But then you'll be banned from Steam along with the X amount of dollars you've put into your Steam account in the form of digital goods.rikrobson wrote:how does the system know you are outside the US?

______
Steam does not take VPN/Proxy location purchases lightly, so if you're feeling lucky gambling away ALL of your Steam digital goods just to save some money/content, then good luck!
