We could have gone without the Standard 5, I suppose, but that's undoubtedly where their effort has been since March and they are still putting late touches to it now.

The 5 took a long time coming but was certainly worth the wait. I'm happy with a similar lead-in time on anything they make when the end result is so good.

Nothing has happened, it is being worked on, its taken a lot of work to put together and had a lot of very complicated scripting work going on, just like the 222. I do believe it is the next release on their roadmap, but it isn't always so simple and perhaps a hiccup has arisen? It shall be top notch quality I assure you, having had access to a pre-release version (of a few months vintage) it looked very good, and I'm not just bigging it up because I made all of the nameplates!

They're simmering happily on my PC whilst they get finished off. The got their very own 3D firebox this week as well. :)

Kind regards,

I do hope it will come with the "Intelligent Fireman" that the 5MT did.

The ActivFireman was originally written for the Britannia, so yep, it does.

Can confirm it will be worth it. Used a pre production version and very good it is. Nicknamed my fireman Thor because of the mighty way he wields a shovel!

You're right, I can't find it anymore either. And the K4 page is gone as well. Only the TGV route is still listed as a product in development, and the direct URL to the product page of the 7MT or the K4, which I still had in my browser history, don't work anymore either - they redirect to a search page.

Odd.

Oh, I have no doubt it will still be around, it should be closed to finished by now after all!

Just still curious that the web pages for the 7MT and LNER K4 had both just disappeared, gone up in digital smoke!

:-)

Maybe they are no longer 'in development.' Ie. They could be finished and ready for release...
