Google Maps API Key

I am trying to follow the tutorial regarding map overlays and it requires me to add my API key.

I cannot find it in my Google account page - the tutorial requires me to go to services, activate my Static Maps API an to copy the key from the next page.

I cannot find "services" or any reference to "Static Maps API" on my Google accounts page.

Where have I gone wrong this time?

Hi,Jos,theres a load of Route Building Tutorials on You Tube.i followed them and was amazed at how satisfying it was,but it is time consuming.The biggest challenge i found was "Terra Forming".

I'm having terrible trouble getting my API to work since I got my new harddrive. It worked the first couple of times I loaded but now I'm back to a quick flash of blue circle and nothing. Two new API keys I've generated but no success.

It's still the Static Map API key I need is it?
