No need to; it's by DTG so must be wrong....

Haven't we been here many times before?

Actually Peter, we may be doing tycoon a disservice as the words he used (despite jimmy's understanding of them) didn't make reference to the quality of the sounds, just that they were the same as those of the class 25. As you've rightly pointed out though, they would predominantly sound the same, both locos using the same engine.

Am I the only one here who is actually happy that there are BR Blue loco's being released for the sim that aren't a 55, 47, 37 or 31?
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

No, I'm really please with this loco from what I saw on the twitch preview and I can live with a poor sound, if it has such a thing, set in hope of an AP solution :)

Juanillo99, unless I've missed something, AP don't currently have a Sulzer Type 2 Sound Pack. The post on Facebook you are referring to relates to updates for existing packs.

The original sulzer pack was withdrawn many moons ago, long before the pro packs appeared. IIRC when they tried to record a 25 recently there was an issue with the sounds, not sure if they have managed to re-record. So a pack would seem to be planned again at some point.

Serious question Deano; not trying to score points off those who feel the sounds are inaccurate or start/continue an argument about their accuracy, but in your eyes (ears?) do the class 24/25 sounds represent reasonably what you can remember of the real things?
