Re: Berlin - Leipzig
TBH I don't think so if your paypal payment went through, but it may delay your serial number until tomorrow. Your serial number will come to your paypal e-mail with the code in the subject line. You should have two e-mails confirming your purchase, one should have a direct link to the download, but if you log into your account you can download direct. I know trafic was heavy earlier, it took me about 40 mins to download.

Re: Berlin - Leipzig
This looks promising....if this covers the Berlin-Wittenberg trackage already then support for the old Berlin-Wottenbeg route should be removed. Such as that people should use the newer route for scenario writing.

No idea when Aerosoft will release it, as noted in a previous post sale from the authors site was temporarily removed overnight die to a glitch in the shop software. Sales should resume today.

Re: Berlin - Leipzig
If any issues come to light there is a collection thread here http://rail-sim.de/forum/index.php/Thre ... post350132 posts in English are preferred to Google translate, if your native language is not English then use your native language, there are Dutch, French, Russian, Swedish and Polish speakers on the forum that I know of, and probably others. If you have an issue with the tunnel in Berlin it is an issue that came with TS2016 for some people not exclusive to this route. For some it can be corrected by expanding the tunnel in the editor, for others there is unfortunately no solution at the moment. So far a few small things have slipped through, an update will be forthcoming quite quickly.

Blimey, 127Mb for scenario's! Mind you it's better than the default 101 only!

Re: Berlin - Leipzig
I have just purchased Berlin - Leipzig from Aerosoft (€30.20), using Paypal. No problems encountered - but don't forget to record and archive the serial number.
Download, of 1.2 GB, took a little while...
Unzip and installation were incident-free, as were download and installation of the scenario pack.
RW-Info tells me that I now have 9 scenarios (2 versions of each) and 6 quickdrives.
RW_Tools tells me that the only route assets (apparently) missing are the RSDL Foliage set (which is in an .ap file) and four VirtualTracks\audio\audio\ folders for which I expect Jan Bleiss will have a patch PDQ (if they're actually used).
RW_Tools also says that the only scenario stock (apparently) missing is in two .ap folders: DTG\BR442Pack01 and RSC\ICE2Pack01. Both already installed, so that's OK...
All in all, it looks like a fairly pain-free installation to me. Now to see if it runs - but not before I install some recently downloaded Czech items.
I hope that that's taken things far enough through the process to reassure (some of) the faint-hearted...
Kind regards,
John M

Re: Berlin - Leipzig
How can you expand the tunnel? Toward the entrance of the station or toward the tunnel itself? sorry I didn't quite understandholzroller wrote:If any issues come to light there is a collection thread here http://rail-sim.de/forum/index.php/Thre ... post350132 posts in English are preferred to Google translate, if your native language is not English then use your native language, there are Dutch, French, Russian, Swedish and Polish speakers on the forum that I know of, and probably others. Re: Berlin - Leipzig
I have been driving from Berlin to Leipzig and the overall impression is great! I don´t regret buying this!
Things i don´t like:
The sounds when driving in tunnels (from Berlin) and the sounds when driving over some, not all, bridges. The sounds are far too loud and it is more annoying than realistic. I never liked those sounds in MSTS year 2001 and i would love to see them go away from this route. Compare the sound when driving in the tunnel to/from Berlin to the sound when you drive in tunnels in the Mannheim - Karlsruhe route. Move away from MSTS-ish sounds when driving in a tunnel or passing over a bridge, or lower the audio way down. The best is to remove them, it´s not pleasant to jump in the chair when an abrupt loud sound kicks in.
LZB works from Berlin to Wittenberg but beahves erratic from Wittenberg to Leipzig. If you start from Wittenberg in a QD the LZB never kicks in.

Re: Berlin - Leipzig
I give this route 9 out of 10, the route is fantastic and I love it, I've deducted a point due to the lack of bridge sounds, I can't hear any? The loudness from the Berlin tunnel was always loud but I never heard any reverb going under bridges or rumble going over them either.
But still if you're into German routes then do not wait, get it now!
I would also like to add that the route is very stable I have yet to try on other routes but I am guessing that 90% of crashes in TS appear to be caused by my AV!!!

Re: Berlin - Leipzig
Some bridges have sounds while some don´t. The ones that have have too loud audio, MSTS-ish approach. Boom, loud sound in, loud sound out. No fade in or fade out. When sitting in the relatively quiet cab of the ICE those tunnels/bridges sounds are just annoying. They are, imo, annoying in any cab.smarty2 wrote:I've deducted a point due to the lack of bridge sounds, I can't hear any?
Re: Berlin - Leipzig
Time to get rid of your AV and run your Windows without it...like me...
