If anyone owns this locomotive, or it's free, whatever, does anyone happen to know if there's a problem with this particular engine ? I've been using it in a scenario today, and, for some reason, it will only get up to 6.5 MPH or thereabouts. This is on it's own, and with a full load in this scenario, it's not much less. Do you happen to know anything about this problem ? It's like the brakes are on slightly, if not fully on. This is also with full power applied.
Regards...

Does it have gears? Is that top speed in first gear? Try changing up a gear with 'E' if so.

Class 08 don't have gears, so it can't be that.peteskink wrote:Does it have gears? Is that top speed in first gear? Try changing up a gear with 'E' if so.
Can't say I've ever had this kind of problem with any of the 08's in game. Most of the time they shoot of like a rocket on their own, so I would be inclined to think that the brakes or handbrake is applied to restrict it to such a low speed.
Expanding the TS wagon fleet.

I picked-up the EWS & Freightliner 08 pack in the current Steam sale, and have been having quite the opposite speed effect.
During the scenario "Intermodal Ballast" i got a speeding penalty for reversing at 27mph, which should technically be impossible. So i think DTG might need to take another look at there settings and rectify that. XD

From Jim's description it's not a certainty that it's the same model, their (whoops) are many reskins of the various 08 versions around so it could be for any model---Jim, can you be a bit more specific regarding just which model it is?TrainBloke wrote:I picked-up the EWS & Freightliner 08 pack in the current Steam sale
