Now we know what routes and traction are coming to TS2016, but what is new in the core game?

Hi
I just wish the zombies could be sorted out, they either disapear just before getting into a train, walk under a train.or walk through the side of a station platform shelter.
For the 1950 Riviera route maybe a new loco completely, either a Grange or a Star \ Abbey 4-6-0. 4061 Glastonbury Abbey was still in service in 1956 I have seen a photograph of it at Basingstoke on a Portsmouth Birmingham service.

As in previous years, the upgrade of the core program will be free to existing TS2015 users. The full retail version, including any TS2016 specific routes and stock, is likely to fit onto the same pricing schema as the existing game.

And if you wait until the winter Xmas sale and you can usually pick up the Steam edition of the newest game (includes the new routes etc) in a flash sale for very cheap, think I paid around £5 for all of the TS2015 bells and whistles.

There's an old joke about the Dutch... A Dutch family - dad, mom, and their kids - on a trip walks into a cafe, selects a table, takes a seat, waves at the waiter to take their order...

The father orders: one glass of apple juice please, and 8 straws.

Interestingly enough, there's a big connection between Yorkshire folk and the Dutch. About 30 miles or so east of me is Goole, an inland port mainly built by the Dutch and the whole area is full of interesting dykes and wetlands.

Hi
I have been looking at trains running over the 1950 Riviera route, and only 4 trains ran with Chocolate and Cream MK1's they were the Devonian,The Cornishman, and 2 from Paddington,1 was the Cornish Riviera Express and 1 other, this was post 1956,when WR were allowed to paint their MK1 for named trains.

The Cornishman 09.00 Wolverhampton- Penzance return next day 10.30 Penzance - Wolverhampton,

10.30 Paddington Penzance, return next day 10.00 Penzance Paddington,

13.30 Paddington Penzance return next day 11.00 Penzance- Paddington,

I haven't got the timings for the Devonian as that is a different book.

Hope this of help to scenario makers.

Curious to see the Grange "confirmed"...

And looking forward to the new Pannier - hopefully with the later style cab and improved performance ;-)
