Their model certainly doesn't do that but stopping from 60mph matches what technical specs I could find for the class 220/221! This braking performance hit you take while the speed is above 60 seems to be the main reason why their model fails to stop within the 1712m specified in the documents.AndyUK wrote:Try the document I linked to here: http://forums.uktrainsim.com/viewtopic. ... 5#p1767055. If the JT Meridian and Voyager can't match the requirements therein then by my reckoning the braking isn't accurately modelled.smartie38 wrote: .....I've searched high and low on google about that but can't find any braking figures for stopping distances above 60mph so I have no idea if that is accurate but I'm assuming it is. .....

I know there's two kind of script files in ts2016, (lua & out) one type you can edit & the other you can't, with the 220/221 model I edited the script to remove the reduction in braking while the speed is above 60 but I also changed the braking force believing that to be wrong, I'll go back and edit the script again but leave the braking force at default and test again to see if it's possible to stop in time from 125mph.
If it works then hopefully this 222 model uses the same script file format that can be edited & not the encrypted format.
