Direct2Drive TS2015 Sale!

Post by groundhog »

Just stumbled across this here:
https://www.direct2drive.com/#!/promotion/125

Now here's something cool: the Norfolk Southern GP38 is currently 107% off! https://www.direct2drive.com/#!/downloa ... eu/5009122
Sadly, it seems you can't purchase only the GP38 but if you buy an item and add the GP38, you actually pay less. So get it while it lasts!
(And if you sign up for their newsletter you will get an additional 10% discount.)

Cheers!

Good spot, thanks for the link

I always seem to notice that, apart from the recent summer sale on Steam, the Berlin to Wittenburg never seems to make it into the discount bucket, even on Aerosoft.
For disclosure, I am affiliated with a third party developer however, I do not know anything about any future releases unless I'm working on them and even then, I'd be breaking years worth of built up trust to say anything about it ;-)

It's a pity there are a couple of items which are only sold on Steam and/or Aerosoft (and the latter being rather reluctant when it comes to discounts, it seems). I've been waiting so long for the Koeblitzer Bergland v3 to go on sale that I no longer know why I wanted the route in the first place.

I found it impossible to register with them? I need to register before I can make a purchase which means any discount, plus 10% for subscribing to the newsletter, is just a fairytale for me. Time to unsubscribe................

Tried 'Join' and also Log In and then 'Join' but the Register button is not active whatever I do. Unfortunately, no purchase from me then.

Grrr. I'm currently in the UK and it won't allow me to buy as I'm registered with my NZ address or use a UK address. I can't find a way to change to the NZ store.

A few people on Railsim.de are having problems with this site, even those that have made porevious purchases. They are recieving the message that their e-mail is not trusted, answer from support...use a different e-mail.

I think its not a well run site.
Saturday, purchased 3 items, all was fine. 2 hours later tried to purchase another item and was told I could not, said payment was refused. Do not know why, money in account. Sent a email to support, so far no answer.
After reading above comments tried to register my son on the site and it was refused because - possible fraud!!!!
I will not be using this site again

I'm sorry hearing about the issues you guys are experiencing. I didn't encounter any problems registering and buying from there.

But there's another sale on GMG today, so maybe you can find some of the items there.
