Re: Children
It would be nice if DTG created "people packs" just as they do for scenery. I'm thinking some 1960s schoolboys in caps and blazers, complete with spotting books, for the Weardale and Teesdale route

Re: Children
People packs covering different eras would be an absolute boon. Kuju had static figures, which can stil be useful, but my later routes only have animated figures and then only a few options in terms of eras. I wonder whether we couldn't do with a new Freeware Pack to expand the choice, even if the difficulties of animating them means they'd be static?

Re: Children
There is a child model somewhere on one of RSCs Hard drives as it appeared in a promotional video a few years back.

That's genuinely funny. But my word, that is really close to the edge (not your intent, I know!).atlasduff47 wrote:Trains are more fun?![]()

Re: Children
Hmmm, a good question and one that DTG haven't answered for several years, now.mandybabe wrote:Does anyone know why there are no children in Train Sim world?
If you want children characters for your platforms and other areas of your routes then get the 2D offerings from G-TraX in America, I obtained their Payware route Portland Terminal a few years ago and found these dotted around, they look quite the part. Sadly, these are only what's available at present, but, if you're prepared to part with some money you can populate any route with them to your heart's content, there are lots of adult characters as well.
I've popped a screenshot up of what is available, so, you can see what they look like, they aren't the same as DTG's people, obviously, but, it's better than nowt.
You should have asked a few weeks ago when the Steam Summer Sale was on, you could've got the route for half price, then.
