I've done all that already before starting this subject so it's nothing to do with any of that I'm sure of it. It's got to be something with the material editor after I've selected RW material in the select menu. There has got to be away of sorting this hope someone can help with this little problem I bet it's something simple as usual lol

Good evening,

I remember having a similar issue when the DDS file in the source directory is already compressed. To get correct results, the compression has to be done (or not depending on the file naming) during export from the Blueprint editor. To fix that, make sure you export your source image as an uncompressed DDS (or export to ace, where the issue does not exist).

I hope this helps.

Cheers,

I meant when exporting the texture image from your image editing program (Photoshop, Gimp, ...) to your source directory, the blueprint editor will export correctly to the assets directory either ACE files or uncompressed DDS files. If you are using the later, make sure the DDS file is not being compressed as the blueprint will take care of compressing it if needed.

Cheers,
