I'm also from the Vic20, Spectrum and C64 era, so for me the current TS graphics are really good. Could things be better? Yes, but compared to what used to be considered good graphics, what we have on TS is pretty amazing. My first train game was Southern Belle on my brother's Spectrum!

I too remember Southern Belle, it's amazing how enjoyable it was at the time, you could only dream of something like TS2015 back then.

For me I would almost rather DTG concentrate on things like the despatcher and the signalling rather than worrying too much about the graphics as I really don't think they are that bad!

I am putting this thread out of it's misery. Very little useful information has come from it and all it has achieved is to inconvenience a whole bunch of electrons flowing up and down the network cables.

If you want to reminisce about the olden days then the generic simulation forum is the place to go.
