Do you consider it FUNNY, or do you...

Post by ka959 »

find it BUGS you, that you have to witness intending passengers, walking about the platforms in TS2015, with their lower-halves buried in asphalt, all the time ? This could have very-well have been corrected a lot sooner than this ! It only creates your opinion of the Simulator, as a joke. It's a bit like the inconsistency in TS2015 being left "Just a little bit longer, till we get around to it" over, and over again, until it NEVER gets done, when the chaps at DTG probably would take, with their expertise, five minutes to have it done. It just doesn't look right, I think, and what do "Newbies" tend to form, as an opinion, of THAT ? :-?

Regards...

I used to see this all the time last year but since the upgrade to TS2015 the problem seems solved.
Which routes are you still seeing this on ?

I still see this occasionally, can't remember which Routes though (a couple of German Routes in particular). It does look silly but I've just become used to it.
I occasionally still get people walking down the middle of the rails and into my train too.

I really can't find the energy to be bothered too much by it, probably because it doesn't fall anywhere near a core element of a train driving Simulator.

It makes me laugh when steaming through a station and someone walks out infront of you, and hovers over 2 tracks to get to the other platform!

DTG passengers now behave themselves in most modern routes. The only problems I have are in the old freeware ones like The Far North Modern.
At Georgemas Junction for example, where you see heads only sticking out the platform.

I ran a scenario on the London to Brighton and the passengers still walk across from one platform to another and are buried in the platforms.

It does spoil the sim when you see such actions
I would rather the passengers did not move unless a train was in the platform.

I've never been impressed by the passengers in TS from day one, both inside carriages and on the platforms.

Hopefully when it moves over to the new engine we will see something a little more realistic, something even a little more like WOS3 when instead of disappearing, passengers enter the train and sit down or get up and leave the train.

I got the 415/6 on sale yesterday and noticed passengers magically fade in view (in passenger view) once ready to depart, I just cannot be doing with that!
