It is in fact a Peppercorn K1.
http://victoryworksts.blogspot.co.uk/20 ... -look.html

I chose to build this as when I was offered the chance to build a steam loco to release around the time of the WVR route it wasn't 100% decided that it would actually happen. The K1 has the advantage of looking right at home on other DTG routes as well.

Assuming my first foray into the LNER is well received then I have diagrams and research for the Q6, Q7 and of course the J21, so all of those are very possible in future. A G5 has also been recommended to me :)

That k1 looks stunning, and there's so many other places we can run it, first up for me is WHLE.

Wow, that looks amazing and I can't wait to drive it.

Also glad to hear there is the possibility of more LNER stuff in the pipeline. Being a Northerner primarily interested in modern stuff, GWR stuff doesn't appeal enough for me to justify the spend on it, as nice as it all looks.

So, tonight I watched the Twitch livestream, very interesting and great looking route. Many many route miles and junctions etc.

Included stock in base pack:

What Twitch Livestream ??? There's been absolute damn all on their Facebook page for the last 48 hours, so, how are customers supposed to know, their lack of communication is absolutely staggering.

Thanks for mentioning this Matthew, we wouldn't have known, otherwise.

I thought the twitch session was excellent and it was great to hear Derek's insight into this route and what it means to him. Really looking forward to this release.

I saw it posted about at least twice so I'm surprised you haven't seen it.

Also wow at the route, instant day one purchase for me even though I'm generally into more modern stuff usually.

I thought this was the best part of the interview - nice to hear the personal commitment - down to modeling his schools - while I have the JT Bishop/Auckland route all ready - will get this one because of this interview

Me too, Derek reminded me of myself but with added talent of course. I'm waiting for complaints of recycled scenery assets from people that didn't watch the live stream and realise the assets were previously borrowed from this long running project.
