Anyone familiar with ArcView?

The MSTS 1 Route Editor can be a beast to use, but it's capable of some amazing results, here you can talk with the wizards that are building some of the fantastic routes available and learn how to make your own.

Anyone familiar with ArcView?

Basically what the title suggests. I have access to both the program and some DEM data in the grid format, however I have no idea how to use either. Any suggestions?

Cheers

John Childs' site:
http://www.terrainmap.com

Lots of real good info here!

John is right up on this stuff and seems to be an alright bloke when it comes to answering questions, etc.

I am going to try to make some DEM from GEOTIFF satellite images using some of his suggestions and his freely-available applets.

Regards
Jim

Jim.

I have some GeoTiff satellite images and I was looking on the site you mentioned to find out how to turn them into DEMs but I couldn't find anything. Could you possibly point me in the right direction please?

Thanks
Steve
