Available in FerroSim a package of improvements for Class 390 EMU.
It includes:
  • Enhanced the headlights, with the addition of 'Lens Flares'
  • Added cablight with switch sound - Operable by the 'L' key (only expert controls)
  • Fixed and improved the Throttle/Brake values shown in the F3/F4 HUD
  • Display the ampere rating in the F3/F4 HUD

Thanks also for the info, it looks to be a good improvement. It's perhaps a pity the authors didn't include a VT version for Horgy's repaint, which I suspect is the one most people use.

I suppose we can clone one of the modded ones with RWTools and swap the textures, but does that run the risk of breaking many existing scenarios ?

No problem.
Also available an independent package of improvements for the Virgin livery here → http://www.ferrosim.es/downloads.php?vi ... &df_id=260
My sincere thanks to James Horgan (Horgy) for letting me upload this package of improvements to my website. Image

Now is not necessary to clone anything.
And these enhancement packages do not break any existing scenarios, they work as before. Image

Thanks for the heads up

Is anyone aware of any branding patches for the Class 390 GNER and LMS versions?

Thank you for this update. I will deffo give it a go. Its been a bug bear of mine that there seemed to be no fixes pending to the 390.

Once you have downloaded the Zip file and extracted the contents there is a readme in English and a rwp file to install with utilities and that is it.

Perhaps the 'Readme.pdf' document is written in an imperfect English language, but since it's not my native language this is what I've been able to do. Sorry.
Anyway I think it's perfectly understandable.
