One way traffic ?...

Post by Javiz »

Hi guys,

I am looking for AI road traffic that travels only in one direction. After trying many road traffic files, both complete with road and just the traffic without a road, i haven't had any luck. I need two 2 lane roads with a rather broad grass bank in between them. One road traffic to the north, the other to the south. There are various great 4 lane AI traffic roads with a guardrail in between them but my roads need this grass bank in between them, not a guardrail...

I figure it's a fat chance to find AI road traffic that travels only in direction. Would love to hear what you guys think ?

Forget about it or seek and ye shall find ?....

Thanks a lot on forehand for any hints/tips !

cheers,
jan

Have a look at Keith Moss' West Coast Main Line North or West Coast over Shap. One or both of these use omni-directional roads in pairs to create dual carriageways. Some vehicles even change lanes.

Thank you, John, i see what you mean and it looks great ! But sofar haven't been able to locate a particular road like that. If only the editor would show the name of a particular asset that has been used but it doesn't... Checked WCML in RW-Tools, shows default Kuju roads that have normal two way traffic. Vehicles do take over other vehicles, yes. Another problem is the typical English double deck buses. We don't have them here in Holland...

I found SAD Autobahn Extreme to come closest to what i'm looking for, i think i'll go with that.

Thanks much for your tip ! 8)
